Prime Telecom, a fully privately owned Romanian company founded in 2000, is the first telecommunications company that provides data communications and network-neutrality.

Optical fiber network operator, Prime Telecom is a service provider that offers complete solutions to its clients in the Romanian IT market: internet access, data communication, hosting and collocation solutions, network design and installation.

In 2008, Prime Telecom merged with Net Vision Telecom in order to enhance its telecommunications offer.

The consolidation process continued in 2009 when VipNet, one of the local operators, joined Prime group.
